Right before she was leaving to the reception I took this image. it’s still one of my overall favorites of mine.

Backyard Birds

These images were taken a year ago while trying out some new equipment. I took these images while hanging out in the backyard with my family. They enjoy leaving food out for the birds and watching them play in the bird bath.

There’s a sense of madness that comes with loving things that come and go. Fragile and unstable.

Rocky Braat

Greensburg, Kansas

In 2006 I went to Greensburg for a pallasite meteorite dig with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. To be honest, it was the smallest town I had ever been but also very friendly. Just over a year later the town was 95% destroyed by an F5 tornado. Following the destruction the town has been rebuilding “Stronger, Better, Greener”. According to city website they know have the most LEED certified buildings per capita in the world. Please check out the city site here:

Betsy’s Bridal Portrait

A while back I got to take my friend Betsy’s bridal portrait during a cold sunny day. We had a fun time and here are some I wanted to share with you all. She’s very photogenic so it wasn’t hard work at all.

This is an older photo of Derek Larson but it’s still one of my favorites. We took this photo inside one of the bars in the Fort Worth Stockyards. We all had a great time and everyone was happy with the results.

Rivas. Some of my favorites during a photo shoot.

Here’s some images of us hard at work during a photo shoot.

A while back I found this beautiful little bug in my office. I thought the bug was dead so I took some pictures using our new Canon 100mm macro lens. Well it started twitching a little before it finally died. I managed to take a few images and shot some video which I’m editing now. Obviously the colors of the bug is amazing and that’s why I wanted to share it with you all. You can find out more about this bug at :
